Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings to keep offerings exciting
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow proper food handling procedures during meal preparation and serving to ensure safety and quality
- Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt, friendly service in a fast-paced setting
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar kitchen role is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation methods
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry environment, especially with pizza or fine dining is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
