Colusa County Office of Education is recruiting for Paraeducators who can assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to individuals or groups of students in an assigned special education program; monitor and report student progress regarding behavior and performance; and perform a variety of clerical duties in support of the instructional program.

CURRENT ASSIGNMENT LOCATION:
Throughout Colusa County
SALARY:
$22.42 - $33.53 per hour
HOURS/DAYS:
5.5 - 5.75 Hours Per Day/ 195 Days Per Year (183 Workdays +12 Holidays)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
One year of experience working with children in an organized setting.
Meet Title I Paraprofessional requirement: high school diploma or the equivalent, and two (2) years college coursework (48 units); or Associate’s degree or higher; or pass local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction.
LICENSES & REQUIREMENTS:
· Basic First Aid and valid CPR certificate issued by an authorized agency (may satisfy this requirement post employment)
· The successful candidate will be required to provide DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance, TB test clearance, COVID 19 vaccination verification (or program-required equivalent), a valid California driver’s license, and disclosure of CA-DMV Driver Record (INF-1125) following acceptance of job offer.
