POSITION SUMMARY
Performs advanced Legal Operations work and serves as a resource for complex workflows, escalations, quality review, deadlines, reporting, and process support. This role partners closely with Legal Operations leadership, attorneys, and cross-functional departments to help maintain accurate, timely, and consistent execution across assigned legal operations functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Prepare, review, edit, process, and route legal documents, correspondence, filings, and related case materials in accordance with firm and client requirements.
· Request, receive, review, and organize documentation from clients, courts, vendors, attorneys, and internal departments.
· Maintain accurate electronic files, case notes, account statuses, calendars, task queues, and internal system data.
· File, serve, monitor, and follow up on legal filings and court or vendor activity, escalating rejections, delays, or exceptions promptly.
· Communicate updates, requests, issues, and next steps clearly with attorneys, managers, collectors, clients, courts, vendors, and internal departments.
· Follow established workflows, client requirements, court rules, compliance standards, and firm policies and procedures.
· Prioritize assigned work to meet deadlines in a high-volume legal operations environment.
· Maintain regular time and attendance and perform other duties as requested.
· Handle complex or higher-risk assignments, deadline-sensitive items, escalations, rejected filings, exceptions, and issue resolution.
· Review work for accuracy, completeness, file hygiene, documentation, compliance, and adherence to court, client, and firm requirements.
· Prepare or support reporting related to queues, deadlines, backlogs, aging, exceptions, productivity, or other operational needs.
· Provide guidance, training support, and workflow support to Specialists I and II as directed.
· Identify process gaps, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities and communicate recommendations to leadership.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
· 3+ years of legal operations, litigation support, collections litigation, or related legal experience.
· Advanced understanding of legal operations workflows, legal documents, filings, calendaring, case documentation, and deadline management.
· Demonstrated ability to manage complex assignments, competing priorities, and time-sensitive work with minimal guidance.
· Strong proficiency with case management systems, Microsoft Office, Excel, e-filing platforms, and client/court/vendor portals.
· Ability to review work for accuracy, coach others informally, and communicate issues or risks clearly.
· Excellent written, verbal, organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
· Experience working in a high-volume legal environment required.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
