About the Role
The Leasing Agent is responsible for leasing apartment homes, supporting resident relations, and assisting with daily property operations. This role focuses on driving occupancy, supporting lease renewals, and maintaining a positive experience for current and prospective residents.
This position works closely with the property management team to manage leasing activity, process applications, and support overall property performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Show apartment homes and convert prospects into residents
- Process applications, approvals, and move ins
- Support lease renewals and resident retention
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and leasing inquiries
- Track daily leasing activity and follow up with prospects
- Walk vacant units prior to move in to ensure readiness
- Assist with rent collection and resident communications
- Deliver notices and support enforcement of community policies
- Maintain property appearance and leasing presentation standards
- Support property operations and problem solving as needed
- Follow company safety procedures and attend required training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of residential leasing or customer facing experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle difficult conversations and resolve issues
- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and property management systems such as Yardi or similar platforms preferred.
- Valid driver license required
Physical Requirements
This role includes walking the property, showing units, climbing stairs, and light cleaning or preparation of units. Work occurs both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
