Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, supporting the dental team, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various procedures including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials while maintaining aseptic technique
- Take digital dental radiographs (X-ray) and utilize 3D scanners when needed
- Record vital signs and medical history information accurately
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a sterile environment
- Manage patient flow efficiently by scheduling appointments and updating medical documentation
- Provide patient education on oral health, post-operative care, and dental terminology
- Assist with medical imaging and documentation for insurance or medical records purposes
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with current licensure
- Experience working in a dental clinic setting, preferably with pediatric dentistry or general dentistry procedures
- Proficiency with EMR systems including Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control standards within dental practices
- Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while adhering to safety guidelines
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Skilled in chairside assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and aseptic procedures
- Experience with dental imaging technology such as 3D scanners is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
