- Southern California Neurology Consultants (SCNC) is a multidisciplinary neurology practice consisting of six neurologists, two nurse practitioners, and two neuropsychologist offering a comprehensive spectrum of both outpatient and inpatient neurological care.
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be able to assess, diagnose, and treat neurological conditions. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing patient education, developing treatment plans, and managing medications. - Salary range of$115,000 to$140,000
- Full time
- Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders.
- Perform New consults
- Follow-up appointments.
- Proper clinical documentation
- Returning patient phone calls
- Reviewing diagnostic tests/results
- Completing patient forms/documentation
- Contacting insurance companies for procedure/medication approvals.
- Educate patients and families about neurological disorders and treatments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Qualifications:
- CA RN and CA NP License-required
- Graduate of 4-year university and accredited nurse practitioner program
- National NP Board certification in NP specialty - required
- NPI#, DEA#, Enrollment in PECOS
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in neurology prefered
- Proficient in computer programs, Electronic Medical Records
