PT Warehouse Associate — Low Voltage & Electrical Materials Support
The PT Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting field technicians and project teams by ensuring all low‑voltage and electrical materials are accurately received, organized, prepared, and staged for jobsites. This role directly impacts project readiness and installation efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Handling — Receive, sort, label, and store low‑voltage and electrical materials (cables, connectors, jacks, hardware, panels, devices) according to established standards.
- Order Preparation — Pull, pack, and stage job orders for technician pickup or jobsite delivery, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Material Staging — Organize and prepare materials for upcoming projects, including cable reels, termination hardware, mounting equipment, and device components.
- Warehouse Upkeep — Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including proper storage of electrical/low‑voltage components.
- Tech Support Materials — Assist technicians with locating parts, preparing kits, and ensuring they have the correct materials for installations, service calls, and project deployments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience — Prior warehouse, logistics, or material‑handling experience preferred; experience with electrical or low‑voltage parts is highly beneficial.
- Physical Requirements — Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in typical warehouse conditions.
- Technical Skills — Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel); ability to read pick lists, inventory sheets, and material codes.
- Low Voltage/Electrical Familiarity — Understanding of common cabling types (Cat6/Cat6A, fiber), connectors, jacks, patch panels, mounting hardware, and related components.
- Simpro Experience — Familiarity with Simpro or similar job‑management/inventory systems is helpful for processing orders and maintaining accurate material records.
- Reliability — Strong attendance, punctuality, and adherence to safety protocols.
