Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Homeschool Nanny/Mother’s Helper to join a warm and dynamic household. In this role, you will provide attentive childcare to a 2.5 year old, assist with homeschooling activities, and support daily household needs. Your enthusiasm for nurturing children’s growth and your proactive approach will help create a positive, enriching environment for the children while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Support homeschooling routines by assisting with lesson planning, educational activities, and age-appropriate learning exercises for child.
- Provide attentive childcare, including supervising playtime, engaging in creative activities, creating a fun learning environment, and fostering developmental milestones to curriculum.
- Assist with daily household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, dishes, and organizing children’s belongings to maintain an orderly home environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary needs, including toddler-friendly options and meal prep for busy mornings or afternoons.
- Maintain open communication with parents about children’s progress, daily activities, and any concerns that arise during the day.
- Mother works from home - assisting her with general house duties and child.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including preschoolers and toddlers.
- Prior nannying or private home childcare experience is essential; experience with multiple children is highly valued.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and homeschooling support strategies.
- Certifications in First Aid and CPR are required; additional training in working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing household items efficiently.
- Reliable personal transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record.
- Compassionate caregiving skills combined with patience, flexibility, and a proactive attitude toward child safety and development.
