Ru San’s Japanese Restaurant, a 30-year Buckhead staple, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Chef to join our team. We offer a fun, fast-paced environment focused on authentic Japanese cuisine and happy hour specials.
Responsibilities
- Prepare traditional Japanese appetizers, small plates, and dinner entrées
- Able to work under pressure in a high volume environment
- Help with to menu development, including Japanese traditional and seasonal items
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization
- Support smooth service during high-volume shifts
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years kitchen experience (Japanese cuisine required)
- Strong understanding of Japanese flavors, techniques, and popular appetizers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
