Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our team in a casual dining environment for Lunch (11-3pm) & Dinner (3-7pm) shifts. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and well taken care of while maintaining high standards of food service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all details are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments using the POS system, handling credit transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Uphold restaurant policies regarding food safety, hygiene, and customer service standards.
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry, is preferred
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously
- Knowledge of Italian food
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
