Prolink is partnered with a well-established company in Covington, KY, operating within the food manufacturing industry. They are currently seeking a Facility/Utility Technician to join their team. There is a 1st shift and 2nd shift option open at this time.

PAY:
- $22-31/HR
- 10-15 hours/week OT
SHIFTS OPTIONS:
- 1ST Shift: 5:00a – 3:30p OR 2nd Shift: 3:30p – 1:30a
- Set schedules, 10 Hour shifts, OT, Every other weekend off.
ENVIRONMENT:
- Food manufacturing – Refrigerated and Wet
- Mid-sized facility.
- Fast Paced and busy
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- 2 or more years of experience:
- Facility Maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Heavy lifting
- Experience with and willingness to operate Forklifts and Areal lifts daily
- Experience in the operation and repair utilities including, residential electric, three phase electric, centralized air, water, waste, and chemical systems.
- Basic Hand Tools required (Specialty tools provided)
- Education: High school or Equivalent.
- Employment is contingent up successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilities techs will maintain all building and ground property and equipment including offices, bathrooms, floors, landscaping, racks, doors etc.
- Perform facility maintenance and housekeeping procedures.
- Maintain HVAC systems, lighting, and plumbing throughout the facility.
- Receive and complete work orders for maintenance tasks.
- Inspect safety systems like fire alarms, extinguishers, and emergency lighting.
- Monitor and maintain parts and supplies inventory for maintenance activities.
- Work with production teams to schedule maintenance.
- Maintain records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections.
- Order replacement parts and materials as needed.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify potential safety hazards.
- Log maintenance activities and repairs in the maintenance management system.
- Prioritize and manage multiple work requests to meet deadlines.
- Monitor and adjust building systems (e.g., heating, cooling, ventilation).
- Perform basic repairs on structural elements like doors, windows, and flooring.
- Any additional duties assigned by supervisor.
