Job Duties

- Accountable for overall program development of assigned campus and geographical territory – working with scheduling, physician enterprise, and information technology to improve availability of appointments by measuring market demand. Leveraging outside relationships to determine needs of the community.
- Responsible for overall patient experience by improving patient throughput, wait time, availability, and expectations for both inpatients and outpatients. Continually look for ways to drive positive change throughout the department. Work with internal/external departments to improve process flow and overall patient experience.
- Facilitates new and amended procedures and systems, carries out all necessary training and quality assurance activities, monitors daily operations and maintains appropriate records.
- Provides leadership and decision making to ensure efficient and productive use of departmental personnel, materials and financial resources to assure optimal utilization of resources, continually improve the quality of services while reducing costs.
- Assists the Director in formulating annual operating and capital budgets, including FTE allocation.
- Work with internal/external departments to improve process flow and overall patient experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diagnostic Imaging * Knowledge of imaging techniques, processes and procedures used in diagnostics, ability to produce images of internal body structures for clinical purposes or medical science.
- Medical Equipment Management * Knowledge of the equipment used in clinical diagnosis, treatment and monitoring, ability to select, procure, maintain, quality check and dispose of medical equipment in compliance with related policies
- Coaching Others * Knowledge of coaching concepts and methods, ability to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals or teams in learning and improving effectiveness.
- Staff and Career Development * Ability to address learning, training, and career development needs of individuals, teams, or organization.
- Effective Communication * Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques, ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Radiology Safety * Knowledge of radiation safety regulations, principles, techniques and nuclear materials handling, ability to practically apply this knowledge to resolve safety issues.
- Radiology Policy and Ethics Compliance * Knowledge of radiology and applicable laws and regulations governing proper materials storage, handling and disposal as well as radiology-related conduct, ability to demonstrate ethical behavior in diverse situations.
- Office Administration * Knowledge of office administration activities, ability to carry out ongoing office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in support of local and remote teams.
- Teamwork * Understanding of the necessity and value of teamwork, ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Quality Management * Knowledge of and ability to apply appropriate policies, procedures and management methods to maximize operating room efficiency and productivity.
- RT - Registered Technologist Radiology - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or
- RDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
- CNMT - Certified Nuclear Medical Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7 years related experience; previous supervisory/management experience preferred
Additional Qualifications
- May require travel between Jefferson sites
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.

Salary Range
$88,994.13 to $129,987.30 Annual
The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.
