Department: Asphalt
Reports To: Foreman
Status: Non-Exempt
Responsibilities:
· Match all paver joints and maintain consistent joints
· Keep screed adjusted properly and maintain mat quality
· Read grade stakes, us lasers, or GPS systems to maintain correct grade and alignment
· Repair road and parking lot surfaces with asphalt and stone
· Operate hand tools such as; rake, shovel, broom, hand compactor
· Clean and prepare worksites before and after
· Set out signs and cones to divert traffic
· Install underdrainage, reinstall sewer lids
· Work in a professional manor
· Adhere to all safety standards
· Take direction from foreman
Qualifications:
· 2 years+ experience working in the asphalt industry
· Ability to work 5-6 days a week, 8-12 hours a day
· Push/Pull 20lbs resistance
· Lift up to 50lbs
· Valid Class A CDL (is a plus but not required)
