Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance and support to clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your efforts will empower clients to lead fulfilling lives while receiving respectful, attentive care tailored to their unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and observe patients’ health status, documenting vital signs and changes in condition accurately
- Administer medications and manage medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Support clients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer’s and dementia, ensuring a safe environment
- Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for accurate record-keeping and communication
- Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts and catheters to promote safe patient mobility and hygiene
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a sanitary environment
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in accordance with state regulations
- Proven experience in home health care, nursing homes, assisted living or long-term care settings
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or hospice care is highly preferred
- Ability to work independently while following care plans and protocols accurately
- CPR certification and training in catheter care or hospice care are advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
