All North Roofing is a growing residential and commercial roofing company based in Wasilla, serving the Mat-Su Valley and job sites across Alaska. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape how a fast-growing local company markets itself, with real ownership and room to grow as we scale.
The Role
We're looking for a sharp, self-motivated person to own our marketing and lead-generation efforts. You'll work directly with ownership, not buried in a big team, which means your ideas actually ship and your work has a visible impact on the business.
You don't need to walk in with every skill already mastered. On some topics, we may bring in outside help - but you're the one who owns the result: you scope it, direct it, and make sure it actually works. The most important trait we're hiring for is initiative - the instinct to dig into something unfamiliar and figure it out, rather than waiting to be shown.
What You'll Do
- Manage and improve our website, search visibility, and online presence
- Plan and run digital advertising campaigns
- Create content - photos, video, and text - for our marketing and social channels
- Build out lead-handling and customer communication processes
- Improve our business systems (CRM, phone, etc.) and look for ways to automate and improve them
- Support physical marketing efforts (signage, vehicle branding, and similar)
- Partner with sales and operations to align marketing with what the business needs, and bring new ideas to the table
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
- Highly self-motivated and proactive - you push into new topics on your own
- Comfortable owning a result even when directing outside help rather than doing every piece yourself
- A genuine eye for design and quality
- Strong written communication skills
- Basic working knowledge of website platforms and design principles
Nice-to-haves (we'll teach or outsource what's missing):
- Experience with SEO, paid advertising, or CRM systems
- Basic coding or automation experience
- Photo/video production skills
No specific degree or years of experience required. What matters far more than your current skill set is your ability to take ownership, learn quickly, and figure things out independently.
