Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations at all times
- Handle cash register operations, processing cash transactions and balancing registers at shift end
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring their needs are met promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly attitude
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper handling of food products
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail sales transactions effectively
