Severn Yachting Center is looking for a yard hand to join the service team.
As a Yard hand at Severn you will be a part of the Service team, ready to do what ever it take to get the job done, and play a critical role in the success of the team. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Experience with cleaning and polishing boats
- Haul, block and launch boats
- Waxing, bottom painting and zinc replacement
- Assist fellow team members as needed
- Basic knowledge of boat maintenance and repair
- Grounds maintenance and marina cleanliness including weedwacking.
- Power washing
- Operate yard machinery. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, measuring, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety
The working hours are 7:00AM - 3:30PM Monday through Friday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
