As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Director to help propel Hyperkin to new heights by securing partnerships with major national retailers such as Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and GameStop.
Position Overview
We are looking for a visionary Sales Director to lead and execute Hyperkin’s national sales strategy. This role will be critical in driving revenue growth, establishing strong relationships with high-profile retail accounts, and expanding our market presence. You’ll have the unique opportunity to shape Hyperkin’s national sales strategy while building and mentoring a high-performing sales team. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to expand Hyperkin’s presence with major national retail chains, including Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and GameStop.
- Retail Partnership Development: Identify, engage, and secure new retail partnerships to drive revenue growth and brand visibility. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and buyers within target accounts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product development teams to align Hyperkin’s product offerings with retail demand and ensure successful product launches and promotions.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and sales performance metrics to align strategies and provide regular reporting to executive leadership.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
- Industry Representation: Represent Hyperkin at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness and network with potential partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on national account management and retail partnerships.
- Proven track record of securing and managing large retail accounts, ideally in the consumer electronics or gaming industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data, forecast trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for gaming and familiarity with the gaming industry is highly desirable.
