Quality Engineer, Phoenix AZ or Tulsa OK
Multiple Openings | $90,000 to $100,000 | On-Site, Autonomous Role
Established leader in precision-engineered components and supply chain solutions for aerospace, defense, semiconductor, medical, and energy industries is hiring Quality Engineers at two facilities. This is a high-autonomy role: you are the go-to quality authority on the floor, accountable for compliance, decisions, and continuous improvement independently, with remote management via Microsoft Teams.
If you've built your career as a hands-on quality professional in precision manufacturing and you're ready to own quality at a site without daily supervision, apply with your resume. We'll match you to the location that fits.
WHAT WE NEED:
We're hiring experienced quality engineers who can run a site independently:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Biology, or related STEM discipline (from an accredited institution, required)
- 2+ years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and industry standards: ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9120 (ISO 13485 also acceptable)
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerancing; GD&T experience a plus
- Experience using inspection tools: calipers, micrometers, weight scales, Optical CMM (Micro-Vu / Kalix), Pi-Tape
- Ability to interpret Material Test Reports, Inspection Data Results, and Certificates of Conformance
- First Article Inspection (FAI) experience
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously as the on-site quality point-of-contact, comfortable owning decisions and accountability without day-to-day supervision
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred (not required)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
OPEN LOCATIONS:
- Phoenix, AZ ($90,000 to $100,000)
- Tulsa, OK ($90,000 to $95,000)
WHAT YOU GET:
- $90,000 to $100,000 base depending on location and experience
- Real autonomy: you are the on-site quality authority, not a junior reporting up
- Established leader in precision components for aerospace, defense, semiconductor, medical, and energy
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Company-paid life, AD&D, and long-term disability insurance
- 401(k) with employer contributions
- Paid time off and company holidays starting upon hire
- Employee Assistance Program
- Cell phone allowance or company-provided phone
- Career growth in a rapidly expanding company
WHO WE'RE TALKING TO:
If any of this describes you, we want to hear from you:
- You've been the on-site quality lead at a precision manufacturing site and know what it means to own the floor
- You've worked in regulated environments (aerospace, defense, semiconductor, medical) and know ISO 9001 and AS9100 cold
- You can read a drawing, interpret GD&T, and run a CMM without someone walking you through it
- You're self-directed, accountable, and comfortable working without a manager looking over your shoulder
- You want a role with real autonomy and real impact, not a number on a quality team of 30
