Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Licensed Psychologist specializing in Psychological Testing to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties
- Conduct detailed psychological testing and diagnostic evaluations for individuals across various age groups and backgrounds.
- Administer and interpret a wide range of assessments including cognitive, behavioral, personality, and neuropsychological tests.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, .
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused therapy for PTSD.
- Maintain accurate, confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Participate in supervision of junior staff or interns, sharing expertise to foster professional growth within the team.
- Engage in quality improvement projects to enhance assessment tools and therapeutic approaches.
- Collaborate with schools, hospitals, outpatient clinics, or community agencies to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote psychological testing and counseling services while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Psychologist with current certification to conduct psychological testing in Pennsylvania .
- Proven experience administering psychological assessments and conducting diagnostic evaluations across diverse populations.
- Strong background in child & family counseling, working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
- Experience with crisis intervention techniques
- Familiarity with hospital settings, outpatient clinics, inpatient units, or school environments is preferred.
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), PTSD care strategies, addiction counseling, and behavioral health interventions.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical records management and patient confidentiality.
- Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate patient care delivery.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively; supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong research skills and experience working with people with disabilities or special needs are advantageous.
- Comfort using telehealth technology for remote assessments and therapy sessions; prior telehealth experience is beneficial.
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in all client interactions, maintaining ethical standards and clear communication.
- Possesses strong organizational skills to effectively manage caseloads, documentation, and scheduling in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
