Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including residential and/or commercial environments. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines.
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring and system installations.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or during renovation projects.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for wiring, conduit bending, and system assembly while adhering to electrical safety procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures before they impact operations.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of electrical installations in accordance with project specifications and local codes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance, NEC standards, and local electrical codes.
- Skilled in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints reading for accurate installation and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems.
- Ability to perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting using specialized tools such as ohmmeters.
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring, electrical wiring techniques, and installation on construction sites or during renovation.
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
