Duties
- Conduct regular patrols using CCTV systems and physical inspections to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity within and around the premises
- Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including conflicts or disturbances, with professionalism and calmness
- Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and personnel entering the site, ensuring adherence to access protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies when necessary
- Perform first aid and CPR if required, providing immediate assistance in medical emergencies until professional help arrives
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
Requirements
- Active Florida Class 'D' and 'G' Security Licenses
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly preferred
- Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications such as conflict management or surveillance are a plus
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, security protocols, and loss prevention techniques
- Ability to handle stressful situations with confidence and professionalism while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, patrol for extended periods, and respond quickly when needed
- Willingness to undergo background checks and obtain any necessary licensing or permits required by local regulations
