Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Counter Sales Representative / Rental Coordinator to assist customers with equipment rentals, reservations, and general store operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong organizational skills, and can thrive in a fast-paced construction equipment rental environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in person and over the phone with equipment rentals and reservations.
- Prepare rental contracts, invoices, and customer paperwork.
- Explain rental rates, policies, and equipment operation basics.
- Coordinate equipment availability, deliveries, and pickups.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records.
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Work closely with drivers, mechanics, and management to ensure excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional rental counter area.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service, sales, retail, or rental industry experience preferred.
- Construction, landscaping, or equipment knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
- Ability to work occasional Saturdays.
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
