Paul Davis Restoration is hiring a skilled In-House Tradesman / Finish Carpenter to join our team in Meridian. In this role, you will skip the hassle of bidding and billing. Instead, you will focus entirely on your craft—helping residential and commercial clients rebuild after water, fire, or storm damage. We provide a steady pipeline of projects, a supportive crew.
Daily Responsibilities
- Finish Carpentry: Install interior trim, baseboards, crown molding, doors, and cabinetry.
- Property Repairs: Execute high-quality general handyman repairs on residential and commercial structures.
- Surface Restoration: Perform professional drywall patching, textures, and light touch-up painting.
- Flooring Installation: Lay luxury vinyl plank (LVP), tile, and handle minor carpet repairs.
- Project Care: Complete punch lists and final details to return properties to pre-loss condition.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of professional carpentry, remodeling, or handyman experience.
- Versatility: Comfortable handling a diverse mix of small-to-mid-sized trade tasks every day.
- Quality Focus: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to clean, professional craftsmanship.
- Physical Ability: Capability to lift 50+ lbs and work actively on your feet.
- Credentials: Valid driver’s license and clean background.
- Note: Experience in drywall finishing, flooring, or property restoration is a major bonus.
