The Philadelphia Protestant Home (PPH) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Personal Care team. This role is responsible for providing high‑quality resident care, supporting daily living needs, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment during overnight hours.
Schedule Requirement
- Full-time
- 12 hour shift, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am (overnight hours) and every other weekend
- Candidates must be able to reliably work overnight shifts as scheduled and weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and regulatory standards
- Monitor and document residents’ health status and report changes promptly
- Oversee the administration of medications and treatments as ordered
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania in good standing
- Valid CPR, First Aid and IV certification
- Prior experience in personal care, long‑term care, or a similar setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and professionalism, especially during independent overnight hours
