We're a small, fast-growing specialty coffee shop in one of San Francisco's best neighborhoods (Polk St). We're known for our espresso, matcha, and a rotating lineup of signature drinks people come back for. The role
We're hiring a part-time barista / cashier for weekday afternoon shifts, roughly 1:00–5:00 PM (sometimes starting 1:30). You'll run the floor during the calmer afternoon stretch: making drinks, prepping a few sandwiches, taking care of guests, and closing up.
What you'll do
- Pull espresso and make our specialty + seasonal drinks with care
- Prep a small number of sandwiches / light food items
- Take orders and run the register (Square POS)
- Give warm, genuine service to our regulars
- Handle closing: clean-down, cash count, and lock-up
What we're looking for
- ~1+ year of barista / café experience
- Comfortable and confident on an espresso machine
- Reliable, punctual, and great working solo
- Lives in SF (or close by) — it's an afternoon shift, so a short, dependable commute matters
- Genuinely enjoys coffee and people
