Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues. This role offers the opportunity to work with various vehicle makes and models utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and mechanical expertise. The technician will ensure vehicles are repaired efficiently and safely, providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of quality.
90 day trial period required. After 90 days, health insurance, vision insurance, 401k, and 401k matching available.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on powertrain components, steering, suspension, brakes, and alignments.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs.
- Maintain detailed service records and complete auto estimating for repairs needed.
- Follow safety procedures and adhere to manufacturer specifications during repairs.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and routine inspections.
- Stay updated on automotive technology trends and participate in ongoing training as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Drivers license required.
- Inspection and emissions license preferred.
- Previous experience is required..
- Proven experience with automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain repairs.
- Experience working with schematics, vehicle alignment, welding, and auto estimating is desirable.
- Service technician experience in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, maintenance procedures, and general automotive repair techniques.
- Customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and services performed. Pay: $21.00 - $45.00 per hour
