We are in search of a new team member for our busy retail store in West Seattle where we work well with each other, are happy to be here, and enjoy what we do. Most staff members have been here for years because it's an enjoyable place to work. We are looking for a great new team-mate!
What we are looking for in you:
*A smile and positive attitude, an outgoing personality, and a passion for dogs & cats.
*A self starter who shows initiative. You pay attention to details and are accurate.
*An excellent attendance history. You might have retail or cash handling experience.
*An aptitude to use PC's, have great problem solving skills and possess leadership qualities.
*Want to work in a fast paced environment; have excellent multi-tasking skills; like to be busy.
*Like a physical job with a lot of movement and activity. You must be able to lift and move big bags of dog food & cat litter as needed...up to 40lbs. Love visits from dogs.
*Enjoy working with a variety of people and pets. Enjoy listening and conversation.
*You have knowledge or interest of human and/or pet nutrition and natural foods.
*Are helpful, caring, and appreciate diversity.

For training, hours will vary and will include some weekend shifts. We can be flexible.
We are looking for someone to fill a shift that would be 30-40 hours week. This shift includes at least one weekend day. Please do NOT apply if you are not able to work weekends.
