Join our dynamic aesthetic medicine team as an experienced Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in injectables and non-surgical cosmetic treatments. Duties
- Perform injectable treatments including botulinum toxin and dermal fillers with precision and artistry, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and skin evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer esthetic laser treatments, skin rejuvenation procedures, and other non-invasive cosmetic interventions following established protocols.
- Educate patients on treatment options, post-care instructions, and realistic expectations to foster trust and satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation of procedures performed, patient responses, and follow-up care using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient safety and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with the clinical team on treatment planning, case management, and quality improvement initiatives to elevate service standards.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), with certification in aesthetics preferred.
- Proven experience performing injectable procedures such as botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers; prior esthetic laser treatment experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to aesthetic medicine.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Athenahealth for accurate documentation.
- Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate communication abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Critical care experience or background in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or ICU settings is advantageous but not required; a demonstrated passion for aesthetic medicine is essential.
