Total Auto Repair in Wilkeson, wa, is looking to hire 2 new mechanics/technicians to our team. We have been in this location for a few years now and we have made a pretty good name for ourselves. Being an honest shop, customers have developed trust with us and our repeat customers are growing daily. The work schedule is mon-fri 8:30-5:30, but I'm not against working on weekends if you want to make some extra cash. Since I am looking to fill two different positions, I will list out the responsibilities for both below.
Lead tech responsibilities are, but not limited to;
- Learn strengths of the mechanics in the shop and work with service writer to create an accurate and efficient work flow. No one in the shop should be below 30 completed hour per week.
- Accurately diagnose vehicles
- Complete 35 plus hours of work per week.
- Help maintain shop safety and cleanliness.
- Problem solve with others in shop to help the complete work when needed.
these are just some responsibilities a lead tech has, if you have been in the industry long enough you know these are important and there is a lot more I didn't mention, but you get the idea.
Responsibilities for the second position are for a good R@R mechanic.
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to complete 30 plus hours of billable work hours each week consistently.
- Have own tools
- Must have experience in a shop and know how basic equipment works like lifts, air compressor, a/c machine, etc.
