POSITION: HS Kitchen Manager LOCATION: North Farmington High School
SALARY: $16.74 - $21.10/Hour
7.25 hours/day, 5 days/week, 10 months
Approximately Between: 6:00 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
START DATE: August 18, 2026 DEADLINE: June 12, 2026 or until filled
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate or equivalent G.E.D.
- Upon receiving the position, must pass Serv-Safe test as required by the Health Department
within 60 days
- Knowledge of all phases of Food Service work to include record keeping and submission
- Previous good attendance record
- Knowledge and ability to perform many and varied tasks and work assignments within the
Nutrition Services Department
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
- Demonstrated ability to read, reason, perform simple mathematical functions and follow written
and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to plan and supervise the work of others
- Perform other duties as assigned, to include possible temporary assignments in other buildings
as necessary to adequately staff departments.
- Must be well informed with respect to food, sanitation and federal lunch requirement.
- Will be required to pass a written Cooking Managers test and practical equipment test
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with staff members and the
community
