Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurately take customer orders using our POS system while providing a warm and welcoming interaction
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with consistency, quality, and attention to presentation
- Assist with food preparation while following all food safety and proper handling procedures
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable guest experience
- Handle cash and card transactions with accuracy, including basic cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with health and safety standards
- Engage with customers by offering product knowledge, recommendations, and attentive service
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management to keep operations running smoothly
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous barista experience or knowledge of coffee preparation is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing personality
- Experience with Toast POS system
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Ability to stay organized, detail-oriented, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
