Duties
- Assemble engines by interpreting detailed blueprints and technical specifications with precision.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools to construct and modify engine components.
- Conduct thorough quality control inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
- Perform mechanical repairs and adjustments on engines, applying automotive repair techniques when necessary.
- Operate forklifts and other manufacturing equipment safely to transport heavy engine parts within the workspace.
- Implement strict quality control procedures throughout the assembly process to meet industry standards.
- Document assembly steps, inspection results, and maintenance activities accurately for traceability and compliance.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to aviation, automotive repair, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with assembly of complex machinery using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.
- Ability to perform quality control checks diligently to ensure engine reliability and safety.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to welding, machining, forklift operation, and manufacturing environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to identify issues early during assembly or inspection stages.
