Clean Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Services Worker to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our commercial and institutional spaces. Work Schedule
- Evening and night shifts starting around 5:00 PM
- Weekend work may be required depending on assignment
- Part‑time: approximately 25–30 hours per week
- Full‑time: approximately 30–40 hours per week
- Availability between 4:30 PM and 1:00 AM (or later) depending on site needs
What You'll Do
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment following site-specific checklists and cleaning standards
- Clean commercial offices to include; dusting, wiping, trash removal, vacuuming
- Clean restrooms to include toilets, urinals, locker rooms, showers, trash removal, paper products replacement
- Clean Entryways to include dusting, wiping, vacuuming, mopping
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly in accordance with safety protocols
- Assist with light custodial repairs or maintenance tasks (change out lightbulbs) as needed to support overall facility upkeep
- Follow safety procedures during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment
- Properly use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment according to safety guidelines
- Secure facilities after service (doors, lights, alarms as applicable)
- Work independently or as part of a team while maintaining productivity and quality
Qualifications
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and polishing for various flooring types
- Experience with commercial or industrial cleaning environments preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers effectively
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while adhering to established safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards
- Reliable, punctual attendance on every scheduled shift
- Ability to work efficiently and stay on task in active environments
- Professional appearance and willingness to wear a required uniform
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work (bending, stooping, standing, stairs)
- Lots and Lots of walking
- Comfortable working independently and taking direction
- Able to communicate in English
Requirements
- Reliable smartphone (used for timekeeping)
- Reliable transportation (some positions rotate between multiple locations)
- Valid driver’s license and minimum required auto insurance
- Dust, wipe, vacuum, mop, and maintain floors using commercial equipment
- Properly use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment according to safety guidelines
- Secure facilities after service (doors, lights, alarms as applicable)
- Work independently or as part of a team while maintaining productivity and quality
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Company uniforms must be worn for each and every shift
- Must pass required background check and drug screening
- Employees are bonded and insured
Benefits
- $300.00 Sign-On Bonus after 90 Days Employment (with minimum of absences or tardy shifts)
- PTO accrual after 90 days (effective per paycheck for immediate use)
- Raise after 6 months and 1 year of emploment
