Role Description: The Field Service Support Technician is a full-time role based in the Fargo-Moorhead area. This role focuses on providing on-site and remote technical support for wide format scanners and printers along with desktop scanning hardware, including setup, maintenance, and repair. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, performing scanner and wide format printer repairs, and assisting with installations and upgrades of systems and peripherals. The technician will respond to service requests, document work performed and communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. The role also involves proactively identifying recurring problems, recommending improvements, and contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Field Support and Technical Support skills for on-site and remote customer assistance.
- Candidates should possess experience with Desktop Computers, and be mechanically inclined to resolve problems.
- Candidates should possess advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hardware issues efficiently.
- Candidate must possess a high school diploma. Relevant qualifications such as an associate degree or technical diploma in a related field, or equivalent practical experience are beneficial but not required.
- Strong customer service, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, accessible language.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple service requests, and prioritize tasks in a field-based environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within a ND/MN territory as needed.
- Diagnose and repair equipment using product manuals, AC-DC multimeter, laptop and manufacturer tech support
- Beneficial for candidates to possess computer repair skills, including component replacement and basic network connectivity support but not required.
- Industry certifications Electronics Degree are beneficial but not required.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
