Full-Time Infant Nanny | Seattle, WA 98117 | 40–50 hours/week | $73k-$105k /year

Schedule: 40–50 guaranteed hours/week, Monday–Friday
Compensation: $35–$37/hour DOE
A warm, professional family is seeking an experienced, nurturing nanny to care for their 4-month-old infant. They are looking for a long-term caregiver who is passionate about newborn development and interested in becoming an important part of their family's support system.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, loving care, including feeding, diapering, naps, soothing, and age-appropriate developmental activities.
- Follow the family's preference for a screen-free environment and respectful, responsive caregiving.
- Support the infant's feeding routine and follow care instructions related to mild reflux.
- Transport the child as needed, including occasional daycare drop-offs/pick-ups (reliable vehicle required; mileage reimbursed).
- Assist with child-related household tasks, including children's laundry, bottle washing, sanitizing feeding supplies, tidying play areas, and light household support while the baby is sleeping.
- Maintain open communication with the parents regarding daily routines, milestones, and developmental progress.
Schedule & Flexibility:
- 40–50 guaranteed hours per week.
- Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility for occasional early mornings (as early as 6:00 AM) and later afternoons (until approximately 5:00 PM).
- Occasional overnight care on short notice is required when one parent is on call and the other is traveling.
Qualifications:
- Extensive professional newborn/infant care experience.
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record.
- Current COVID-19 and annual flu vaccinations.
- Comfortable around a friendly, medium-sized dog.
- Dependable, flexible, proactive, and able to commit to the position for at least one year.
