Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Design Showroom Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in home design, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will support our design consultants by assisting customers, coordinating schedules, processing sales, and helping ensure every client has an outstanding experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist clients with product selections for wallcoverings, window treatments, and paint colors.
- Learn our product lines and become knowledgeable about vendors and design services.
- Process customer orders and payments using our POS system.
- Schedule consultations, measurements, and installation appointments.
- Coordinate calendars and communicate appointment details with customers and installers.
- Prepare estimates, invoices, and customer paperwork.
- Follow up with customers regarding orders and project updates.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting showroom.
- Assist with merchandising, sample organization, and inventory.
- Support the design and sales team with day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and scheduling software.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team.
- Retail, administrative, customer service, or home décor experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Interest in interior design, decorating, colors, and home improvement is a plus.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
