Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for weekend shifts, working from early morning to late evening hours on Saturdays and Sundays. Duties
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility to promote independence and well-being
- Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, accurately recording findings in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Use patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts safely and effectively to prevent injury
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during patient care procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care plans and address needs promptly
- Assist with specialized care such as dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory support activities, or behavioral health interventions when required
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification with current licensure in the state of practice
- Experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring memory or dementia care
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation
- Knowledge of vital signs measurement, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification
- Prior experience in long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), or home care settings is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper techniques and manual handling equipment such as Hoyer lifts
- Strong caregiver communication skills paired with a compassionate approach to patient service

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
