We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Superintendent / Project Manager to lead some of Boston's most unique and challenging residential construction projects.
This is not a role for someone looking to "step up." We're looking for a proven construction leader who has spent years successfully building within the City of Boston and understands the complexities of urban construction, historic renovations, and multifamily development.

About the Role
You'll oversee 2–3 active residential construction projects throughout Boston, taking full ownership from startup through final turnover.
This is a field-first leadership position responsible for driving schedules, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining quality standards, solving field challenges, and ensuring every project is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Projects include:
- Ground-up multifamily developments (typically up to 15 units)
- Historic Boston brownstone renovations
- Full-gut residential remodels
- High-end urban residential construction
Responsibilities
- Lead daily field operations across multiple active projects
- Manage subcontractors, scheduling, sequencing, and site logistics
- Coordinate inspections, permitting, and project milestones
- Maintain project schedules and documentation using Procore and Buildertrend
- Review plans, identify constructability issues, and resolve field challenges
- Maintain OSHA-compliant jobsites and enforce safety standards
- Coordinate RFIs, change orders, punch lists, and project closeout
- Communicate regularly with ownership, architects, engineers, inspectors, and clients
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship and quality
Required Experience
- 15+ years of construction field leadership experience
- 10+ years managing construction projects within the City of Boston
- Proven experience independently leading projects from startup through closeout
- Strong background in ground-up multifamily residential construction
- Extensive experience with historic brownstones, full-gut renovations, or complex existing-building renovations
- Excellent subcontractor management and schedule coordination skills
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Required Skills
- Deep understanding of Boston permitting, inspections, and urban construction logistics
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to proactively solve field issues
- Organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined with project documentation

Preferred Qualifications
- Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL)
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Lead Safe / RRP Certification
