CT/X-Ray Technologist (7-On / 7-Off Rotation)
- Location: Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Healthcare Facility (IHS) – Belcourt, ND
- Compensation: $60-$70.00 / Hour (Negotiable DOE) + $1,300/Week in Combined Stipends
- Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
- Contract Duration: Up to 5 Years (Base year + 4 option years)
Premium Rotational Compensation & Perks
- Hourly Base Rate: $60-$70/hour (Negotiable based on experience)
- Housing Stipend: $900 per active working week
- Meals & Incidentals Stipend: $400 per active working week
- Travel Time Pay: $25.00/hour from your home to the facility at the start/end of rotations
- Mileage Reimbursement: Reimbursed for authorized travel within North Dakota per company policy

The Lifestyle Schedule
Enjoy 26 full weeks off per year! This Compressed Work Schedule (CWS) balances your hours over a biweekly rotation with zero cash overtime, allowing you to travel home completely on your off-weeks.
- Rotation: 7 consecutive days on, followed by 7 consecutive days off
- Shifts: 12-hour shifts (Evenings and overnights)
- Hours: Approximately 84 hours worked per active week
Position Summary
Paradigm Professional Health Services is recruiting an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist to support the Indian Health Service (IHS) in Belcourt, ND. You will perform computerized tomography (CT) examinations and diagnostic radiographic procedures. When CT studies are not scheduled, you will assist with general diagnostic radiology and routine departmental tasks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Computed Tomography: Perform diverse CT exams, adjust scan parameters, determine optimal protocols, and notify radiologists of critical abnormal findings.
- Diagnostic Radiology: Operate fixed and portable digital radiography equipment to produce high-quality X-ray images while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Patient Care: Prepare, position, and reassure patients; maintain compassionate, patient-centered care; assist in facility emergency responses.
- Equipment & Admin: Maintain and troubleshoot CT/X-ray systems, perform quality assurance, and manage accurate imaging records and repeat logs.
Minimum Qualifications
Must hold at least ONE of the following credentials:
- ARRT Advanced Certification in CT
- NMTCB Certification in CT
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist with documented CT training
- State licensure permitting diagnostic CT with documented CT training
- Nuclear Medicine Certification with documented CT training
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of active CT experience
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Active North Dakota licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Up-to-date immunizations (Proof of PPD and Tdap)
- Must provide your own personal radiation dosimeter badge
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hospital-based or rural critical access settings
- Dual proficiency in both CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures
- Familiarity with digital radiography systems and PACS networks
- Proven ability to work independently on evening and overnight shifts
