Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Experienced Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain various roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and traditional shingle roofs.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute roofing plans.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and install roofing materials.
- Apply construction safety harnesses and adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations during all activities.
- Perform siding installation, stucco work, caulking, trim carpentry, and masonry tasks as required for comprehensive roof-related projects.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while following proper safety protocols for outdoor work environments.
- Read construction plans accurately to coordinate with other trades such as framing carpentry, plumbing, welding, and concrete forming for seamless project execution.
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing installation and repair.
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials including metal roofing and single-ply membrane systems.
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints related to roofing projects.
- Experience with roof-related tasks such as siding installation, caulking, tile laying, and restoration work.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and heavy lifting machinery safely.
- Familiarity with construction safety harnesses, ladder use, and adherence to construction workplace safety regulations.
- Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions is preferred.
- Additional skills in carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), masonry, welding or remodeling are advantageous but not mandatory.
