Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our busy team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional client service. This role involves working with children, adults and local hospitals to assess their needs and deliver tailored massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Full time, Part time or contract positions available.
**Flexible schedule between days and evenings and the hours of 8am and 8pm Monday through Friday. Must work some evenings , NO weekends.
Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, Oncology massage and pain management strategies.
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs and preferences.
- Provide detailed assessment/progress notes on clients.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective services that address specific concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for clients and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.
Qualifications
- A positive attitude
- Valid PA state license in massage therapy.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Experience in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, oncology massage and pain management/ medical massage.
- Excellent client assessment skills with the ability to customize treatments based on individual client needs.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Previous Massage Therapy experience .
