Are you ready to handle the wild side of Louisville?
Humane Wildlife Control Solutions is the largest wildlife removal and exclusion firm in the region. We don't just set traps; we solve complex human-wildlife conflicts using advanced biology and construction techniques.
We are looking for a Wildlife Route Technician who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. If you’re the person your friends call when there’s a snake in the garage or a raccoon in the trash, we want to talk to you.
The Mission (What You’ll Do)
As a Route Technician, you are the "boots on the ground." Your daily route is a mix of wildlife management, animal rescue, and field logistics.
- Wildlife Management: Deploying and servicing humane traps for raccoons, opossums, squirrels, and more.
- Field Operations: Transporting captured wildlife and managing specialized trapping equipment.
- Animal Handling: Safely removing snakes from homes or handling aggressive wildlife in attics and crawlspaces.
- Sanitation: Performing dead animal removals and site inspections.
What We’re Looking For
- The "No-Fear" Factor: You must be 100% comfortable going hands-on with angry raccoons, snakes, and other aggressive animals.
- Clean Record: A 10-year clean driving record is non-negotiable. You’ll be behind the wheel of a company vehicle.
- Local Reliability: Must live in Louisville or Southern Indiana (or within 15 minutes of the service area).
- Flexibility: We operate 24/7. Whether you’re a night owl or an early riser, we can build a schedule that fits your life.
The "Front of the Line" Qualifications
Experience in Animal Control, Nuisance Wildlife Control (NWCO), Pest Control, or Law Enforcement will move your resume to the top of the pile. If you have a Kentucky Nuisance Wildlife Permit, even better.
Why Join Humane Wildlife Control Solutions?
This isn’t a dead-end job; it’s a career launchpad. * Paid Training: We invest in your development from Day 1.
- Rapid Progression: We don't want you to stay a Route Tech forever. We have a clear path to move you to Basic Operator, then Advanced Wildlife Control Operator.
- Commission Incentives: As you promote, you’ll earn industry-leading commissions on repairs, exclusions, and new contracts.
- Unique Environment: No two days are the same. One hour you're in a suburban attic; the next, you're solving a wildlife crisis at a commercial facility.
How to Apply
If you have a passion for wildlife, a "can-do" attitude, and a squeaky-clean driving record, apply today.
