American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and Cerner proficiency, working nights on a 13-week contract.

13-week travel contract in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit

Patient population includes females of childbearing age, pregnant patients from 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, and triage cases

Procedures and activities include vaginal and C-section deliveries, pre-op care, admissions, discharges, transfers, external cephalic versions, and cerclage

Common equipment includes fetal monitors, Cerner, and Fetalink documentation systems

Cerner EMR experience required

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)

Active RN license (Standard or Compact) — no pending licenses accepted

Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP

AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required

Minimum 2 years of L&D experience in a U.S. hospital setting required

Cerner EMR experience required

U.S. Social Security Number required

Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Date of birth required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

All certifications must be AHA-issued
