Duties
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, shift management, and ensuring smooth service flow.
- Lead and motivate team members by providing training, coaching, and ongoing development to uphold high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service.
- Manage food preparation and kitchen activities, ensuring adherence to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and efficient food production.
- Utilize POS systems to process transactions accurately and handle cash management.
- Control inventory levels through effective stock rotation, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Supervise food safety practices and maintain cleanliness standards across all areas of the restaurant.
- Support budgeting efforts by controlling costs, and maximizing revenue opportunities.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or hospitality management roles with a focus on team supervision and restaurant operations.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage staff effectively and handle customer concerns professionally.
- Background in managing hospitality teams within casual dining, quick service environments, or retail
- Demonstrated ability to oversee inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis.
- Leadership qualities that include team training, staff interviewing, shift management, and fostering a positive work environment.
