KITCHEN TEAM MEMBER (BAKERS/COOKS)
part-time & full-time opportunities (15-40 hours/week)
Shifts available THURSDAY to MONDAY 6 AM to 3 PM (weekend availability required)
We’re looking for bakers & cooks to join us in our kitchen! You’ll be making dough, rolling, boiling and baking bagels, preparing cream cheese, making pastries (cookies/muffins) and other food prep as needed for service.
Bakers are the beating heart of our operation — you’ll contribute to our success by ensuring our bagels and treats are of the best quality we can produce, and you’ll help us be responsible about reducing waste in our kitchen.

Additional Full time benefits:
- Up to 100 hours per year Paid Time Off (PTO) for vacation & sick time, accrued at a rate of 1.5 hours per 40-hour work week

- Accrued paid time for sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 40 hours)
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Making dough and rolling bagels
- Boiling & baking bagels
- Preparing cream cheese spreads, deli items and pastries
- Cross-training on sandwich station
- Kitchen clean up
- Recipe development
Requirements:
- Prior kitchen experience -- internships, class time, and paid work all count!
- Strong stamina, urgency, and attention to detail during busy production shifts
- Available for shifts between 6 AM and 3 PM, including at least one weekend day
- Fit enough to lift 50-lb bags of flour and stand on your feet for up to 8 hours at a time
- Above all, we value reliability and punctuality
Preferred qualifications -- these are nice-to-haves:
- Background/experience in bread or pastry
- An affinity for numbers (scaling up/down recipes, for example)
- Recipe development experience
- Familiarity with our brand and products
