We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Fry Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious fried dishes that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and food safety will help ensure our guests enjoy memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of fried menu items with precision and consistency
- Follow established recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fry station to ensure food safety and efficiency
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as ingredient prep and plating support
- Adhere to all food handling, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times
- Support the culinary team during busy service periods to deliver prompt service
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and monitor inventory levels for the fry station
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen environments, preferably in a restaurant or culinary setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Strong knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, catering, and food service operations
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
