Dual-Licensed Nurse Practitioner – Substance Use & Mental Health

Maryland Behavioral Health Clinic (MDBHC) is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our treatment team temporarily while our Full Time provider is out of the country for 1 month. This job will be from July 4-August 1. The Nurse Practitioner would see clients 2 days a week for 5 hours each day, total of 10 hours a week.
This role focuses on evaluating patients, prescribing medications, and collaborating closely with licensed counselors to provide comprehensive care for individuals living with substance use disorders (SUD) and co-occurring mental health conditions.
This position will be based at one SUD treatment facility, working directly with patients at PHP/IOP level of care. The prescribing nurse is also responsible for appropriate treatment documentation and reporting.
