Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and kitchen guidelines
- Ensure food quality, portioning, and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist with food prep, stocking, and inventory organization
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Support kitchen operations during busy meal periods
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and food service staff
Qualifications
- Previous cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Experience in hospitality, cafeteria, or university dining is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
