Marathon TS is looking for a Junior AND Mid Level ServiceNow developer who is excited to grow with us on an Agile team supporting a variety of applications for USCIS. As an expert in digital strategy, you will be helping meet our goal of empowering citizen development.
What You'll Do
- Configure solutions for the assigned user stories.
- Configure, code and unit test ServiceNow capabilities of simple to moderate complexity
- Actively participate in product demonstrations, project ceremonies and code reviews;
- Support defect remediation efforts such as user acceptance testing, completing assigned defect fixes.
- Supports end user training as needed; and researches and troubleshoots ServiceNow-related Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues
- If necessary. The Junior ServiceNow Developer also serves as a backup to the Mid-level Developer for researching and responding to ServiceNow-related incidents.
- Interface with enterprise teams responsible for the re-platforming and development of locally developed applications.
- Participate in the development of functional business requirements and helps users assess relative priorities for both business process and technology solutions.
- Understand business processes and priorities. Evaluates alternative business process and technology solutions and participates in making technology recommendations to enhance business operations.
- Work collaboratively with peers to coordinate the overall delivery of technology solutions to the business groups.
- Develop working knowledge of the client's vision and uses this information to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current Client EOD preferred/Ability to receive Client EOD Required.
- US Citizenship required.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Junior: 1-3 years of experience in ServiceNow development – experience should include experience in tool configuration, coding and scripting, design work, and deployment; specifically, candidates shall possess the skill to develop on the ServiceNow platform including the creation and/or customization of the core applications
- Mid Level- 4 years of experience
- Experience with ITSM
- Experience working on an Agile team.
- Possess a ServiceNow Certification.
- Client‐focused approach with outstanding interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of Portal or CMDB
